THAI Promotes “Transfer Passenger Project”

Thai Airways International Public Company Limited together with the Tourism Authority of Thailand, Airports of Thailand, Immigration Bureau, The Association of Thai Travel Agents and Airline Operator Committee recently announced the “Transfer Passenger Project”, with the objective to boost travelers’ interest in Bangkok and nearby provinces and encourage them to return for longer visit in the future.

International transfer passengers on stopovers of 6 – 12 hours at Bangkok International Airport will be offered fifteen special tour programmes to spectacular tourist attractions such as temples, canals and cultural shows. Privileges for transfer passengers includes privilege immigration track, non-requirement of TM6 at the check point as well as airport tax waive when checking in for their onward flights from Bangkok.

THAI will continually promote the Transfer Passenger Project through its Sales offices and marketing network worldwide, inflight announcement, inflight magazine and other communication vehicles.
